STOF: Community Dressing with Theodorus Johannes

During this informal evening centered around handcrafts, we will delve deeper into clothing and identity. Since 2020, Theodorus Johannes has been filming communities where regional attire is still worn. He explores what regional attire means in contemporary times and creates his own interpretations based on this knowledge. He has filmed in places like Marken, Spakenburg, Urk, and Staphorst. We will watch two of his films and further discuss what clothing reveals about who you are. Meanwhile, enjoy some crafting!
