About the theme:
Political Bodies brings together artists and designers whose work harnesses the political potential of textiles and dress. Although enmeshed in colonial and contemporary forms of exploitation, clothing has long been a tool for resistance. Born of community, and worn in public, clothing sings in protest and enables solidarity.
