We were honored to launch the RethinkRebels online academy for fashion professionals who want to make a real impact in the textile industry. Rachel Cannegieter, the founder of RethinkRebels and her team of experts have poured their extensive knowledge and experience into an immersive online training program. Drawing from over 25 years in the fashion industry, this program equips learners with powerful tools, proven strategies, and handy secrets to make an immediate impact and get others to make long-lasting, positive changes.

Launch Event
The official live launch event was shaped in the same way as the RethinkRebels Academy is designed: accessible, inspiring, and action-oriented. With a stellar turnout of over 50 fashion professionals, including notable brands like Cradle 2 Cradle, Kings of Indigo, Wehkamp, Carhartt, Fabienne Chapot, and Maium represented, we kicked off the academy with great enthusiasm.
The event was officially kicked off by Rachel Cannegieter’s speech on the premises of the first circular clothing factory in Amsterdam. Meanwhile, New Optimist founders Xander Schlager and Nelleke Wegdam showed on a factory tour their expertise in running a fashion business that is both circular and profitable. Attendees also enjoyed a dynamic workshop led by academy professor Natasja van Schaik, exploring human-centered design and effective change management strategies.
The launch event marked the beginning of a transformative journey, as we welcomed fashion professionals committed to driving positive change in the industry.
